About your deposit

In California a landlord can only charge you for cleaning that brings the place back to how it was when you moved in, never for normal wear. Since April 2025 they also have to photograph before and after any cleaning they deduct for. A professional invoice and photos are your side of that record.

We're cleaners, not lawyers, and we can't promise what your landlord decides. We can make sure the carpet isn't the reason.
