Wool, synthetic, or something else?
Synthetic rugs (polypropylene, nylon, polyester) take a normal clean. Wool needs cooler water and a gentler rinse, which is why it costs more.
Silk, viscose, antique and hand-knotted rugs can bleed or distort. Those we quote from a photo first, and sometimes the honest answer is a specialist plant.
